A Radiantly Catholic Education
We are Beatrice Cooperative Academy
Beatrice Cooperative Academy (BCA) is founded on a passionate pursuit of living the Gospel in education. We at BCA have drawn, as a source of inspiration for our academy, the character of Beatrice, in Dante’s, Divine Comedy. She is the archetype of beauty integrating faith and reason within a personal encounter of life-long learning.
We are committed to a Catholic educational philosophy where Beauty becomes the source that inspires and leads our children to the Good and the True. This is a radiant living of Catholic Culture. This is an application of the classical tradition with a warmth of personhood, best described in the methods of Charlotte Mason. More to it, our method of encounter, puts forth the Saints as the greatest models for our children to imitate as they too were imitators of Christ.
“From the flower in the crannied wall to the glorious firmament on high, all the things of Nature proclaim without ceasing, ‘Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty.’”
~Charlotte Mason, Volume 4
