“From the flower in the crannied wall to the glorious firmament on high, all the things of Nature proclaim without ceasing, ‘Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty.’”

Delight in Nature’s Classroom
Current Pilot Program
Our pilot program for the upcoming year is keeping first things first. We plan to create a community of prayer and fellowship for home school families. Monday’s we will have Mass at 11:30, followed by a community meal, time for the children (and parents) to socialize, and a great souls study (saint story and activity).
We are going to explore additional learning options as the year progresses but we want to focus on these first things in spending time with Christ and with each other. Some things we are considering are 6 week units around astronomy, brush drawing and clay modeling, cooking and math, etc. And a monthly Nature Study outing with nature journalling and observation.
If you are new to home schooling and would like feedback and suggestions, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are happy to provide support at no cost (other than the booklist we might recommend 🙂 ).
